No, we can't.

Its not a joke. Ted Nugent is a crazy foam at the mouth nutjob who made some sort of decent albums a few years back. I'd no sooner think upon his comments then I would Madonna or some half coked up actress. He's worse as he gives normal average joe hunters and conservatives a bad name.
Oh you are talking about Nugent, I thought you were talking about Dragon Fighter.
I like Nugent, but I think that yes, he can push it too far for some, but then again why are we trying to hide our true passions?
I thought so too until I saw the "Decent albums" remark, I couldn't carry a tune in a dump truck.

I have issue with this statement. Though there seems to be an inordinate amount of communistic idiocy spewed from the entertainers of the world, what qualifications do they need? PolySci degrees, PhD's? What qualifications do you have, or I for that matter? I hope that on matters of CHL and related matters, we are cogent and reasoned based on our sphere of experience. I have read and taught the constitution to my children, I often base my political opinions on that knowledge, many don't and express their opinions anyway. But to suggest that someone's ignorance somehow "disqualifies" them to speak on a subject flies in the face of what I swore an oath to protect.
Now I may well say, "Miss Sarandon, you are an ignoramus who couldn't reason your way out of a paper bag." IMHO, she is. But I wouldn't have her vetted for "qualifications" before she was "allowed" to express an opinion outside of her scripts.
As an aside, there are more well reasoned, conservative entertainers than one might think. They simply don't feel the need to use their stage to spout rhetoric. This I got from an interview with Clint Eastwood conducted by Neal Cavuto.
