I wonder what the reaction would be to this prank in Texas.

It's dark, you're in a horror movie costume and you're holding an airsoft gun without the tip that identifies it as such? Can they get Darwin Awards for prompting a stupid way to go?

+1. Seems like the "CHL Holder" pulled his "weapon" from the front of his pants, like a gangster with no holster.

Or like someone carrying appendix style in a very very nice custom leather holster. I too appendix carry at times. I don't think that confers anything about being a gangster or not.
:iagree: I also appendix carry at times.

I too carry appendix style, so no criticism from me.

It makes for very quick in the hand NOW status...

When you do stupid things, you'll eventually get rewarded with the consequences. The problem is that the consequences won't only be suffered by the YouTube idiots. If someone doesn't realize that this is a prank before it's too late, they'll be the one dealing with police and DA. Plus the aftermath of having injured or killed someone over a stupid prank.

A couple of years ago there was a prank where some idiots in a car or pickup started shooting at a pedestrian with an airsoft or paintball gun . . . and received accurate return fire from a real gun.

Last I read, pranksters were in the hospital, and police were still looking for the pedestrian.

Some of the victims did not seem to be running for their lives either.

Certainly hope everyone was in on it and there was less danger thereby.
