Welcome to the forum.
Yes. All arrests where you were fingerprinted and photographed must be listed. You will need a certified copy of the disposition from the Taylor County Court clerk to send along with your application.
Since you are past the 5 year period, you should be good to go as long as there are no other issues that would disqualify you.

Re: CHL and Class B Misdemeanor
Keith after doing some checking into my arrest record i was not happy with what i found.
1-2-98 Travis county class B misdemeanor
9-4-98 Williamson county class B misdemeanor
1-14-99 Taylor county class B misdemeanor
So will i not be able to get my CHL?

Re: CHL and Class B Misdemeanor
Well, it depends on what those other misdemeanors are. For the most part, if a misdemeanor is over 5 years old (5 years from conviction date) then you should be OK. There are a couple of exceptions though.BigJim wrote:Keith after doing some checking into my arrest record i was not happy with what i found.

If you don't want to post them publicly, you can send me a PM with the info.

Re: CHL and Class B Misdemeanor
As they are Class B misdemeanors and over 5 years you should not have any issue that I see. Just make sure to list them and include certified copies of the disposition.BigJim wrote:1 theft by services under $500

Re: CHL and Class B Misdemeanor
Keith - Have a quick follow up question on this. Someone I know was arrested for a DWI in another state (IL). He told me, however, that he was not fingerprinted and photographed but stayed in city jail overnight till he bonded out. I would guess this should be listed on application as an arrest, even though he wasn't photo/printed??? Thoughts???Keith B wrote:Welcome to the forum.

It's possible they don't need fingerprints and photos for a DWI. However, he needs to list it and get the paperwork showing the disposition.ScottDLS wrote:Keith - Have a quick follow up question on this. Someone I know was arrested for a DWI in another state (IL). Re: CHL and Class B Misdemeanor
Generally it is best to disclose it all, and provide documentation. If it is a misdemeanor and it's been more than five years, you'll be fine. If they find out you failed to disclose something, that's a bigger problem than whatever it was you were trying to hide.

Re: CHL and Class B Misdemeanor
I just submitted my CHL application, and realized I forgot to list an arrest for a Class C Misdemeanor back in like 2003. If was for a traffic warrant. Is it something you think they'll find, and if they do is it cause for concern? Is there any way to rectify the situation before they process my application?
