Thank you all guy for your answers. I asked the school housing department today. It is allowed to have firearms locked in the apartment and car. But I cannot conceal carry it and walk inside the Housing area.

Call around to some gun shops about renting a locker for your gun.

About getting car broke into.
I used to work at a place where only parking was on the street and at night. Hadn't been there long and someone broke my window out but got nothing out because nothing was left in the car. Had to go to trouble to get window fixed, which never worked right again. So I decided to not lock my car any more, just let them get in easy and look. Sure enough every few week I could tell someone had been in there rummaging around but no more broke windows. After other folks there saw I had no more broke windows everyone started leaving their car unlocked.

I always like these goofy contradictory rules. They say you can keep it locked in the apartment, but you can not conceal carry and walk inside the housing area. So just how does one actually get it in/out of the apartment in the first place without technically violating the second part?ericeric11111111 wrote: I asked the school housing department today. Range Rule: "The front gate lock is not an acceptable target."
Never Forget.

My assumption (always a dangerous thing) is they don't have a problem with you carrying directly from the car to your residence. What they don't want you doing is strolling around the housing area while CCing. Simply put, if it's ok to have it in your residence then there has to be an acceptable means of getting it there. In this case I would go with concealed is concealed.sjfcontrol wrote:Sounds concealed to me...MeMelYup wrote:Brown paper bag.poppo wrote:I always like these goofy contradictory rules. Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.
