Emailing Application Problem?
Has anyone else had problems emailing a new application to DPS? I sent mine originally on July 16, with no status updates after 30 days. This week I called DPS to check up on it, and was told they did not receive any of my documents. I resent everything by email again, called the next day, and was told that there were still no documents showing and that the email they received from me was blank. I am positive that I attached all required documents and pressed the Upload button, and it showed all of my documents listed as attached. Frustrating that I've been waiting almost 1.5 months just to find out that they never got anything that I sent. Any ideas what is happening?

Re: Emailing Application Problem?
I emailed and faxed mine on the same day. My faxed copies were acknowledged long before my email copies were. I would suggest sending it both ways as well.

Yes, I had the same problem back in January. I emailed them over via their contact form (as instructed) and they did not receive them either time. I had to call them to check what was going on. They told me to fax them and once I did do that, they received them.

Re: Emailing Application Problem?
Did you send them as attachments to an e-mail, or go onto the DPS site and upload them?

I went onto the DPS website and uploaded them through there. I can't seem to find a fax number on the DPS website, could someone point me in the right direction? When faxing the documents in, do I also need to include a separate cover page with my info on it or write any of my info on each page?
Thanks for all the help, feels like I'm actually starting to make a little progress.

For proof of delivery, nothing beats USPS. Even the notoriously skeptical IRS accepts that proof.

I faxed mine to 512-462-6135. I did not use a cover page; my documents started with the checklist. Per my instructor's suggestion, I wrote my CHL application number at the top right-hand corner of each page.

I emailed and called shortly after to verify that they received everything. Very quick turn around at the time.

I faxed mine on Friday afternoon to the number Robert posted, and today my status jumped from waiting on documents to manufacture pending.
