The adapter is what you pay the stamp on...bonus being that you have a suppressor with no half-life...

I missed something I guess. What do suppressors and adapters, oil filter or otherwise, have to do with Gun Show 30.06 signage?

Got it. I wasn't trying to be the hi-jack police. I actually thought maybe it was cross posted by accident. I did that once.

It's cool brother. I just thought it was weird that they were selling these items using loopholes to do so.

It's been many years (20 or more), but I remember a gun show where one vendor had a bunch of 22 rifles that looked like military style rifles. All of them had big orange stickers on them that said:

WARNING
Modifying xxx part on this weapon by doing yyy and zzz, will modify this weapon to make it fully automatic, in violation of federal firearm regulations. Do not modify any moving parts on this weapon.

(obviously not the exact wording, but you get the drift).

I thought it was ... interesting.
