So, my wife and I both took our CHL class back in 2011. I got my license immediately, but my wife was in no rush. I put her CHL-100 in a binder along with mine, and a CHL-16, and filed it away - or so I thought.
Well, now that the two years is almost up and her CHL-100 is about to expire, my wife has now decided that she does want to get her license. And, of course, somehow her CHL-100 is no longer in the binder (which I am in a not insignificant amount of trouble for). A more thorough search is on tap for tomorrow but, assuming I can't find it, is it any use contacting the instructor for a copy? I know he'll have one, but will DPS accept that in lieu of the original? Or are we out of luck / stuck having to take the class again?
My apologiesif this has been covered recently, bit I didn't see anything in the first several pages of threads.

A copy will be fine
