chl class to file

#1

Post by granitepoint »

I took and passed my chl class and just never filed for my license. Been less than a year. My question is there a time limit between taking the class and filing for the license?
thanks

Welcome to the forum. :tiphat:

Your initial CHL-100 form is good for 2 years, so you should be fine. I would suggest you do the online applicaiton and follow the link to schedule your fingerprint appointment when you do the online app.

What he said, :iagree:

Just in case you need the other info:

Initial CHL - Two years for the class
Renewal CHL - Six months for the class
One year for online payment to DPS
Six months for fingerprints (I'm not 100% sure about this one though)
Final Shot offers Firearms / FFL Transfers / CHL Instruction. Please like our Facebook Page.
If guns kill people, do pens misspell words?
I like options: Sig Sauer | DPMS | Springfield Armory | Glock | Beretta
