I know I can't at any of the sporting events, just wondering about on campus . (Dorms, colliseum, bldgs.etc.... )

Walk around outside all you want. Just can't go in any buildings unless you disarm in the car.

Also, if memory serves correctly. One of the hotels in town is located on University property. That building would also be verboten. I believe it's the Sam Houston hotel.

Re: Visiting My Son at Sam Houston State University
I have two granddaughters (twins) that visited the campus a couple of weeks ago. They loved it, and plan to enroll in the near future. They are currently exploring various scholarship options, but I don't think they will have any trouble.
One of them, in the 3rd grade, made a "B" for one semester in one class. Other than that one blemish, they have both maintained solid "A's" in every class. In this last year of high school, they have both been taking some college level courses, and have maintained their A status.
It looks like I may be taking a few trips there later in the year, and maybe for a few years.

If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.
