Also check the restaurant laws for carry! They are stricter then we are in NM! In AZ you can carry in a restaurant as long as they don't have a sign posted. Check both states sign laws! They are different then ours!

Believe it or not MapQuest is a really good resource to show you the general boundaries of the reservations. I plotted my whole trip using it and it worked great. Never entered a res. If you go and look up NE AZ and NW NM you will see what I mean. You can't get through it without going through Navajo or Ute reservations.

As long as you stay away from salt river in NE Phoenix and Gila in the south you are fine. Take 60 out of the city instead of I-10 and you can bypass Gila. Reconnect to I-10 before Tuscon. Home free the whole way through I-10 to Texas. The northern part of those two states is where the problem comes in.

Sorry for all the posts. One more thing. Watch out for the aerial drones in NM! They will tag you and you will get a speeding ticket! My father in law got two! One on his way to Angel fire and one coming back! :txflag:

You might reconsider and take your own, if the travel's anytime soon, given the difficulty in finding ammo in most places right now.

I carried my SR9c to Memphis this past weekend without incident. Thanks everyone for your tips and advice. It made it a smooth trip. I did get attitude from 1 Delta ticket agent who is obviously anti-2a. I detail it more here.
