Still send checklist items before fingerprints?

#1

Post by Bethstang »

Just finished my online application and set up my appt. for fingerprints. Next available time for fingerprints is not until next week, on my checklist for things to mail in it says fingerprint app. Should I wait until I get my fingerprints done to mail in my other papers or mail in anyway?

Most wait and some do not. The issue with not waiting is there is a form that Morph fills out. I think this helps DPS locate your prints.

IMO, I would wait and send everything all at the same time. DPS is EXTREMELY busy and you could only make things worse if prints don't "catch" up to your application. Once you have everything, just submit and upload all your files to the DPS website instead of mailing them.

I did not wait since my appointment was 8 days later. 2 days after my appointment I did spend about 30 minutes on hold with DPS just to verify that they were recieved. All went well. :txflag:
