There are people in my class who brought guns with serious rust on them!!! I bet the only time they ever touched the gun was to renew their CHL.
Personally, I would like to see the range qualification be a bit more difficult. The written test is a piece of cake, and I have no problem with that, but I'd like to see the part where people demonstrate their proficiency with a handgun become a bit more challenging. Maybe even offer it as an actual training course instead of just a qualification, but of course that would require more money and probably more experienced instructors.
