I'm the kind of person that Snopes checks just about every rumor or internet fad I come across. It's just too much fun to have factual information when speaking :)

And you believe Snopes irrecoverably why?

I've heard on the internet that Snopes is wrong sometimes, but I haven't checked Snopes to see if they have an entry on themselves.

I don't, and didn't say I believe Snopes to be an end-all source. Same with Wikipedia.

They do seem to be a bit more trustworthy as far as determining the source of rumors and misinformation, but like anything else on the internet you have to take it with a grain of salt and move on.
