Private airport question

FL450, I flew into KLAS one time and it will be my last. Now I usually land at Henderson or North LV. I prefer Henderson by far. KLAS rapes you on the fuel prices. I was actually thinking about a Vegas trip possibly end of this week or next weekend ....

This is only the second tme in 8 years I have flown there.
Good to know about henderson. Passengers request for LAS, fortunately were going into the same FBO as were based at which helped in negotiating a fuel price.

Most airports have two controlled access areas: secured and restricted.

I don't know, "most" probably don't have any controlled acess at all. There are one-runway municiple airports all over the country that might have a gate with a padlock, but you can drive around it if you forget your key.

Alaska used to make it mandatory that all pilots carry a gun and ammo in their survival kit, I think they did away with that about 10 years ago because pilots flying from AK to Canada couldnt' obey both laws at once.
