IMO, I don't give a dang about any type of "no guns" sign, legal or not. IF there is ANY type of such sign, I will not carry into the place. My first "rule" is thououghly READ the Texas CHL handbook...specifically says place NOT to carry.

I have no intention of "testing" any sign or law...I have no intention of "taking the ride" even if I am in the right. Have better things to do. I am not going to argue with or without an attorney what type of sinage is "legal".

And where is it you are saying the book specifically says not to carry?

better question, where have you been recently that did not have some form of anti gun sign? any were that sells alcohol has one wich rules out any place you can sit down and eat, grocery stores, walmart gas satations....

the only signs that give legal notice for a CHL holder are 30.06 and red 51% signs, and I totally understand if you dont want to carry past one of those that does not meet legal requriements

¿Qué?

Me too. That's why I make sure I don't intentionally or unintentionally fail to conceal.

I just recently contacted TABC to get an illegal 51% sign removed from Majestic Liquors in Ft Worth. Government employees who do not know the law putting up signs. If you have questions ask.
