Where are the shows in Austin? Not sure I need anything right now, but I figure that shouldn't get in the way of going to a gun show!

Also, thanks for the response to my PM about the LaGrange Range...I just haven't had a chance to get back with you yet. My wife and I have been tied up with the cattle this week, but hopefully things will slow down today or tomorrow.

Edit:

Then again, I may not make the gun show...it seems there's a Texas Tactical IDPA match Sat and I've been thinking of giving it a try. Tough call... IDPA match (1st time) or gun show...decisions, decisions, decisions!

Sorry, I couldn't help it. Why exactly did your Glock hit the floor at Wal-Mart.

IDPA vs Saxet Gun Show

#4

Post by O6nop »

TX Rancher: if you don't need anything at the show, go to the IDPA match, it's a lot of fun and the folks are really friendly and helpful. I haven't been since they moved the location to Cedar Ridge, though.

I'll be at the gun show 'cause I can't be gone from home that long, otherwise I'd try to be at the match, too.

The IDPA match is on Saturday. The gunshow is open Saturday and Sunday so you could do both. If you go, it's on Lamar between Braker and Rundberg (someone correct me if I'm wrong... I know how to get there but bad at giving directions.)

I thought Glocks could withstand drops on concrete from 3 stories high! I've never dropped mine (yet!) so I can't speak with authority.

Well, see, they were testing this new, at-home MRI unit in the WalMart...

I'll be @ Enchanted Rock camping this weekend; enjoy the show!

I'm glad Texas State parks aren't prohibited, lets my mind rest easier.

OK, I got out of the truck and put on a Jacket before going inside and the wife told me that the jacket was up and it might show the gun so when I went to adjust the jacket it hooked the handle and when I pulled up it took the gun right out and on the floor. it slide about 10 feet and stopped in front of the check outs . I went and pick it up and that's it.

I am now got it fixed with the factory sight and selling it .

Thanks for the info O6nop. If I can get the schedule freed up tomorrow, I'm going to give the IDPA match a go. Been thinking about it for awhile so it's time to get off my butt and do it! As you say, I can always hit the gun show on Sunday.

300shooter:

Any particular reason your selling the Glock?
