does any carry concealed at prohibited places?
does anyone carry concealed at prohibited places (i.e. 51% and 30.06)?
i went to a concert yesterday at house of blues (51% posted) and it was really crowded there. someone bumped into my girlfriend and she said she felt the butt of someones firearm. so that got me wondering, do a lot of people carry even when they are not allowed to?

No.
Establishments that do not support my rights as an armed citizen do not receive my business, and I have no reason to frequent 51% establishments.

I don't think that anywhere except courtrooms and prisons should be off limits, but the consequences of getting caught are such that I don't. For example, carrying in a 51% establishment is a felony, which means no guns again ever.
Law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges can carry anywhere in the state. That may have been who that was in the bar.

Maybe undercover LEO or off-duty. Otherwise, us CHLers can't carry there and it is stupid to do so. If caught you are in heap of trouble. Bye Bye CHL, maybe bye bye firearms for ever!roff wrote:does anyone carry concealed at prohibited places (i.e. 51% and 30.06)?

Never on purpose. In an airport in VA on accident once. Went from concealed to putting it in a case in the terminal (in a corner). That's a no no.

Re: does any carry concealed at prohibited places?
I would be shocked if anybody would publicly state they intentionally carry at prohibited places. Why would anybody be stupid enough to take the risk and then announce their stupidity in such public manner? Am I missing something?

If I did I wouldn't tell ya. But I don't I'm like Texas Dan, if the place doesn't want me with my gun then they don't want me with my money either 51% places have no appeal to me. Health care facilities are the only exception to my general rule. Where I live all hospitals and most medical buildings are validly posted.
