CDL application

Can a filed CDL application status be checked or can the process be monited??? Or am I just being impatient.

Did you apply on line? If so, you should have gotten a PIN so you can log on to check your status. If you didn't I think they send one with your application packet.

Yes, you can check the status of your CHL application with this page.

I've been to that page. I could not get into the left side of that page. It would only let me fill out a new application

Isn't a CDL a Commercial Driver's License?

Yes. My first thought was someone asking how a CHL would affect a CDL, or the other way around, in the context of a cop asking for ID, or the perpetual rumor that CHLs can't carry in commercial vehicles, or something like that.

OP: Don't check your CHL status. It will only cause stress. Send it and forget it. When it arrives you get a happy surprise, kind of like ordering stuff online from Hong Kong. :lol:
