I voted .38 Special because regardless of what other gun I'm carrying the snub is ALWAYS along for the ride.

Oh, my! I feel like such a sissy with my .380 ACP. Anything bigger hurts my dainty hands and ears. Are all you big boys carrying protection (ear, that is) for when yoi\u have to draw down outside the range? The BGs may be dead, but YOU will be deef.

I voted .40 S&W because ther wasn't an option for "went unarmed majority of the time because of draconian rules where I work"

When I do carry (I can't as much as I want since I'm a full-time student), it is 9mm (Glock 17 or 19) 99% of the time. About 25% of the time I carry, I also carry .38 special (S&W 642) as a backup. The 1% of the time that I don't carry 9mm is when what I'm wearing doesn't allow me to conceal it so I carry only the 642 (pocket or ankle).

Same here.

The other day my wife asked me why I was carrying two guns.
My answer was "Because I don't have three".

CW40 & PT140 got most of the calls, with 1 or 2 SP101's in 357 next, PM9 next up and on occasion The Judge with 2x410 and 3x45LC JHP.

10mm here, I finally learned how to dress around carrying the Glock 20 even in the summer with just a polo shirt! I also have my new .38 special S&W bodyguard on my ankle the last 2 months.

this was a tough one to answer, in a way. Since I carry a revolver on the job most of the time (for the variety of loads that may be seasonally necessary) it was a .38 snubbie for most of the year. I went back to .357 carry in October for the daily chores, so it will be the "most carried" caliber for the forseeable future. Then, again, I tend to carry a 9mm most often when not in my "work clothes".... which is probably less than 25% of my waking hours. Sometimes I wonder why I have the rest sitting in the dark confines of a safe.... then I remember.... I LIKE them :coolgleamA:

You need more guns :evil2: I carried my .380 the most becasue for the same reason; I either have my Pro CDP in .45 or P2000sk in .40, but I always have my LCP. :fire

Yeah, me too. More like 95% .40, 4% .38 and 1% .380.

The Model 36 is a quick grab and clip IWB if I am in a hurry and otherwise not dressed properly.

maybe no one wants to admit that's what they're carrying ;-) :biggrinjester:
I was fixin' to say the same thing. I see more people with LCP's and P3AT's than anything else.

What I have found is a lot of people that carry EVERYDAY, carry something small, and the guys and gals that carry only when they think they may need it carry larger calibers. If I think I am going to need it, I don't go. LOL

I voted .380 because I carry mine every day that I am in shorts, and as a fishing guide, that is a LOT of the time. When I am not in shorts it's either a compact 9mm or like now, during hunting season and I m guiding deer hunts, it is a snub nosed .357 .
Carry safe and carry when and where you can. I'm just sayin'.
