You talking DFW Gun Club on Mockingbird or Dallas Gun Club in Lewisville? May be able to make it will have to check with the CEO at the house to see if I have any plans I forgot to ask about and she didn't have the forethought to remind me when I was awake.

I talked to the guys at Dallas Gun Club on Mockingbird in Dallas, and they said they could reserve the lanes for us. I think DGC would be the better choice. There is a really good mexican food resturant around the corner from them (Uncle Julios) we could go to afterward.

So if your down to meet in D-Town...how does noon work for everyone?
Noon works for me.

BTW, the range on Mockingbird is DFW Gun. There's a Dallas Pistol Club on Beltline Rd., but it's not open to the public.

Did you mean DFW Gun Club on Mockingbird or Dallas Gun Club in lewisville?

Will have to check with the CEO to make sure I don't have any plans I made in my sleep. I really enjoyed the get together in the fall we had that Hoi Polloi put together. We had probably 30 or so members come shoot and close to 20 go to lunch afterward.

Dang it Excaliber was quicker due to dropped cell connection on the TRE

I'm still good with the DWFGC @ noon on the 15th. Uncle Julio's is goodness. I haven't been there in several years, so I hope they're still goodness. I vote for shoot first and eat after. Don't like shooting on a full tummy.

Muy bien amigos. Noon it is. Since I've never been there, how many lanes are there, and what name is it reserved under? I'll assume it's like Bass Pro, but want to check just in case.

Well won't be able to make it the 15th but y'all have a great time. I forgot an appointment I made while wide awake at noon in SW Fort Worth a couple of months ago.

Need an accurate head count for the shoot and eat on Jan 15th. DFW Gun on Mocking bird, and then Uncle Julios for lunch. There is a gun show that weekend at Market Hall, I might swing by there after lunch if anyone would like to join me.

Hotlead, thanks for setting this up. I really wanted to see the venue and put some names to faces. However I just discovered that I'm having knee surgery on the 13th, so I don't anticipate being able to make it. I expect to still be on crutches for a couple of days. But, what I really wanted to see was a bunch of folks sitting around at Julios with bulges on their hips, ordering nothing but tea and soft drinks for lunch... :biggrinjester:
