Because many businesses do not realize they are turning away business by posting 30.06 signs. Also some businesses respond (e.g. Taco Cabana) when the good citizens with CHLs compel them to take their 30.06 signs down.

I always carry a few of these to give to store managers (the obverse has info about CHL holders):

But the image in the original post isn't a 30.06 sign. It has no bearing on a CHL holder. Maybe someone there knows something about the law. Maybe they don't.
The hospital I work at has a very similar sign at most entrances. It turns out that the guy in charge of security knows what the law says. He knows that the signs have no bearing on CHL holders, and that's why he leaves them up. That's one of the reasons I have no problem walking past a non-compliant sign.

Yup been to that store and saw the sign. Laughed and went in business as usual. But we don't buy there anyway. Won't be going back either.

TSRA shows them in their store. That's where I bought mine.

However, it currently shows they are not available.

I still have all 50 of mine. You could print something similar on your computer for the times you would actually be able to use it.

Oh yes... lets not educate anyone. Perhaps they can get all their news and information about guns, CHL, etc from CNN.
