Christus Santa Rosa, San Antonio

Post by battalion74 »

I was visiting the hospital on Babcock and Medical. I was carrying my pistol with me, remembering that last week I didn't see a 30.06 sign at the front door. I didn't carry so I can recon the hospital. But this time I noticed a sign I missed on the pillar a few feet from the sliding doors. It said, roughly, Pursuant to state law no concealed handguns were allowed.
I turned back to my car and left my pistol inside with spare mags, felt funny leaving pistol and taking mags with me, lol. Anyways, I felt that maybe they were associated to the UT hospital since their all across the street from each other. Does anyone know if they have an education department attached to them? If so, I can tag it on texas3006's website.

They are owned by a private, non-profit, religious foundation. They make no mention of any education department (and I never heard of one) on their web site. From your description, you should note it was not a legal sign when you report it on texas30.06.

Do you think it was posted before the law was changed, where hospitals were definitely off limits? Maybe the old sign just hasn't been changed or was forgotten.
Just posted it on TX3006 as not a 30.06 sign.
