Didn't find out about this forum until a few feeks ago and have been lurking since.

Anyway, found out today that my license was issued on 06/13. Application made it to Austin on 04/26 which is a 48 day turnaround if my math is right.

Now only if my MS VM2 were here....sigh.

Picked up an Ed Brown Kobra Carry (SS) shortly before my CHL class.

Talk about a fun gun to shoot. Been practicing ever since.:)

I cannot carry at work, because I work on a prison facility, but I have been packing while running some errands of the evenings. I have to keep reminding myself that everyone does not know that I'm armed.
Gosh...missed it barres...congrats there....glad to hear it finally arrived...I know that TR-100 was your real bummer!!!! LOL...well carry well n safe when off work!!

No nachos at my Wallyworld, but I did spend about 2 hrs shopping, including buying 200 rds of WWB.

You know that It's illegal to pack in Wal-Mart in New Mexico, or Safeway, or Chili's or any place that simply sells alcohol. This is something we Texans will have to concern ourselves with if/when we go to New Mexico. What we do here is not the same there.

After reading some of your times, I am afraid that my wait will be rough. I have yet to take my class(In the next couple of weeks I hope). Knowing my luck it will knock on 80+ days to get it back!
