A truly stupid question - batrang
Is it legal to carry batrang? No, I don't plan to do that. I am just curious.
these are pretty cool, but useless stuff.

The only stupid question is the one that goes un-asked?
And the bat wing??? Appears to be the same as a throwing star to me.

"Illegal knife" means a:

"Ees gun! Ees not safe!"
Re: A truly stupid question - batrang
Interesting. We could carry a gun legally but not a batrang? Doesn't make sense.boomerang wrote:"Illegal knife" means a:

The plain language of the law conflicts with the legislative intent. Long story short: don't carry illegal knives, clubs ext. Its a handgun license not a weapons license.Stupid wrote:Interesting. We could carry a gun legally but not a batrang? Doesn't make sense.
It can happen here.

I always thought it's dumb that I can open carry a long gun, conceal carry a handgun, but can go to jail for a double-sided knife blade...

Re: A truly stupid question - batrang
I can't find any real documentation that the legislators didn't want CHL holders to be able to carry sharp objects as well as Handguns. I am pretty sure the way the law is worded they intentionally made an exception. It's pretty clearly written, and our legislators are pretty reasonably educated.Frost wrote:The plain language of the law conflicts with the legislative intent. You may not be able to carry the batrang, but if you hold a CHL, you can still use the batbelt, and gun

The only stupid questions are the ones where "the government" is the answer.
