I think that is fair, but it has to be the day after christmas. That is the only time I ever see anyone in my target.

Well, my license came in yesterday. Went out and did a bunch of shopping in the xmas rush. Super Target, Office Max, Michael's..... did it all. It certainly wasn't anything unusual. STretching for the top shelf isn't really tough, as I'm 6'4" with long arms and legs. LOL I wore ONLY a tshirt for cover. No issues. No cover problems. No bobbles. Restroom no problem. Eating no problem. Kneeling down to tie shoes no problem. It couldn't have been less eventful.

What? you don't like slummin' it with the peasants???
where I live, they have one right across from the other, so It's a bit of a no-brainer.

and to add to the OP subject matter, I have quite the feeling that a fellow patron in Targe't would have an absolute coniption fit as opposed to the "foreign diplomats" at WalMart. The Targe't crowd seems a little more "uppity." haha
which, is probably more of a commentary on the demographic of where I live, than of Targe't's client base....
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

Target doesn't sell guns, ammo or Salvation Army bell ringers.... Wally world sells guns, has ammo at a good price, and allows the Salvation Army at Christmas time..

If Target or Costco sold bulk 22 ammo I might be able to avoid Walmart entirely.

They could but they seem to feel its dirty or something.. I figure Wallyworld supports mr, I will support them.. I admit that I don't like their stores much, but as long as they are the only major national retailer that will sell me ammo, that I can also buy my supplies their also. Without them there is only Acadamy.

The Wal-Marts in Galveston and La Marque sell ammo but not firearms. I got tired of the 30-minute in-and-out.

I remember in actual living memory 40 years ago when Marshall Field (defunct), Carson Pirie Scott, Montgomery Ward, J.C. Penney, Sears, and K-Mart sold firearms and ammo in their stores and catalogs. They didn't quit because they are anti-RKBA. They stopped because they didn't earn money.

Whose fault is that?

Sorry, it has to be WalMart. :rules: This was hashed out in another thread a while back and if I remember right, the conclusion was that it had to be WalMart because it will try your patience a lot more.

GCA68 was a big part of it, but most of the retailers kept selling firearms until pretty recently. There has been no big change in federal firearms law for the past 15 years.

The shooting sports have been losing ground for a long time, and I think we would be well-advised to avoid deflecting the blame.
