address on my license is wrong

the address on my texas license is wrong since i just moved. i placed an order for a replacement to be sent with the corrected address. is it safe to send my application on in or should i wait till i get the new plastic drivers license in hand to verify the address change was correct?

You don't have to wait for your new driver's license to come in the mail. As soon as you have the address updated, (either online or at the DPS) then you are good to go with sending in your CHL app.

BTW, I assume the last line on your signature is just for my benefit :totap: ... touche

woohoo, i'm mailing this sucker off then. i'll have to wait for a copy of my license for the utah form.

and the last line of my signature is for everyone who gives me a hard time about my kel-tec. :tiphat:

Sent mine off today woohoo. No one gives you a hard time about your kel-tec. I just am not to worried about being shot with it from more then 10 yards ;)
Texas CHL and Utah CFP taken 5/17
sent off 5/19
letter with pin too check on process 7/09
Received Utah CFP 8/4

Just for the record, I did NOT give you a hard time about your Kel-Tec. I just related that I was less than impressed with the one I once had!

But you would still be better off with a Glock... :biggrinjester:

on topic, good to know my license was not needed in hand, i didnt get time to fill out the papers tonight, i didnt even get to see the hockey game.
