It is owned by Carrolls, the investors from NY. But..it is headquartered, managed, and everything else from TEXAS.
Taco Cabana and their management can burn in hades for all I care. Maybe they will wise up after more robberies. I have never given them a nickel since finding out about the anti-CHL policy.

Only if they hand it to you. If it's posted as a sign, it has to meet the size requirements.
And they will put you in jail.
Taco Cabana doesn't have arrest authority.

The sign inside is proper size and is legal It does not need to be posted on the door just posted where you can see it

Zar,
Although it would be illegal to carry in a 30.06 posted establishment.

I doubt you would get arrested most of the time. TC could ask you to leave, or call PD if they saw your weapon. If PD show'd up they might take your weapon and write you up, or do whatever they wanted to.

It would be up to the officer to arrest you or not, not TC.

I assume they got robbed by someone on a spork crime spree because guns aren't allowed in Taco Cabana.

Maybe the robber(s) couldn't read. They thought the sign said "Now guns allowed" :thumbs2: instead of "no guns allowed". :rules:

Guys,

While I agree that contacting them about their policies again may be a good idea, you need to choose your words VERY carefully.
In a situation like this, I do not want the company to think that this is a potential "racket" type of situation.

In other words, I don't want them to ever accuse Texas CHL'ers of attacking their store to make a political point.

Be very careful when proceeding and be mature about it.

Some of the comments that were posted earlier in this thread are a little too much Ted Nugent (who I love by the way).

They cannot have you arrested if "you didn't see the sign". They can only have you arrested if after "not seeing the sign" they tell you verbally that "CHL'ers are not allowed to carry in their business and please leave". If you do not leave, then you can be arrested.

If you leave (after receiving verbal notice, because, you "did not see the sign") then you cannot be arrested.
