Lubbock area group

#1

Post by Guardian »

Hey guys (and gals), I am fairly new to this forum but was wondering if there was a group in the Lubbock area that maybe got together once a month or so. I figure other areas of the state have get togethers similar to this but since we're out here by ourselves I wasn't sure if that happened around here. I was thinking of something like going to the range or somewhere to shoot and sit and discuss things. Also, maybe have a yearly get together with our families, etc.. bbq, fun & games for kids, etc..

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,
Kevin

The only group I'm aware of is the Cowboy Action shooting bunch at Rustic Range and another over near Whitharrel. Sounds neat, but I have a hard time even making family reunions. :txflag:

Sounds like fun. Now if we just had a range you could shoot more than just paper, that would be even more fun.

I live in Denver City, about an hour and a half from Lubbock. But since it's the middle of nowhere and we have to go to Lubbock to do anything anyway, I'd be up for it.

Meeting at a range to shoot or just getting together for dinner and talk, or both. Whatever, let me know.

I actually live in Ralls but work in Lubbock. What ranges are there besides Rustic and Patriot?
Maybe for the first get together we could just go to the range and then go to Hooters or something.

I can pretty much make any weekend, let me know when ya'll want to get together.

I live in Lubbock and would be up for a meeting. A day at the range sounds good.

I live in Odessa, but I'm in Lubbock on business pretty much every couple of weeks. My schedule is crazy, but I'd try.

Ok, since I'm still waiting on my XD to come in hopefully in a few days, how does Saturday, March 8th sound to everybody?
I was thinking hitting the range first :fire and then maybe grab a beer or two after that :cheers2: Patriot opens at 1 on Saturdays, range fee
is $10 a day there unless you have a valid college ID, then it's $8. http://www.patriotfirearms.com/

Who's up for it?

How bout we "shoot" for 2 o'clock at Patriot. That'll give me enough time to go to my daughter's bball game and make it to Lubbock.

How does that sound?

So Saturday, March 8 at 2:00 at Patriot Firearms.

I should be able to make it, unless something unforseen comes up.

Sounds like fun! :anamatedbanana
