Would you use deadly force to protect your property in this scenario?

Step outside to your balcony, draw a target, and fire.

Me thinks option B. I would definately NOT have the weapon drawn while I confront them. I t COULD be seen as escalating the situation. But, I would definately have a hand on it ready to draw as necessary

BTW, Earl appreciates all of the commentary so far in that one...Even the critical commentary...

Thats the reason why I posted it...Since we are basically talking about if property is worth more than a life...

I would have the wife call 911 and put the cross hairs on the scum. (I never travel with out my CAR-15 / 3X Colt scope.) If they tried to leave prior to the police arriving, then I would shoot to stop them from getting away with my property. Their lives are worth nothing to me, mine is worth a lot, so I would never increase my risks to give them a chance to give up.

The prefered outcome would be the police getting there in time to catch them, the second option is to stop the theft of my property.
