Unfortunately in that situation I believe I would have fought them like a group of men...and after knocking the ever loving crap out of one of em..the rest would have skittered off like a bunch of hyenas

The sad truth is that if we did respond, as most of us would have, the wittiness wouldn't have been found or state they didn't see anything and the video would disappear. Then we would be on the hook for beating back these "poor defenseless high school girls" and had Jackson or Sharpton on our doorstep.

He let it go a lot farther than I would have. It is my personal line that if a woman is going to try to fight me like a man in a situation like that, then I am going to treat her like a man, regardless of their age or race.

It could be a wild gang of 12 year olds for all I care, if they are going to start hitting me like a man, then I am going to hit them back like a man.

Agreed. If a woman hit me, I'd try to restrain her.

We see this all the time from our rookie male officers the first time they get in a fight with a female. They are hesitant to hit a woman because of how they were raised. Like others have already posted on here, if a woman starts swinging at a man then she needs to be dealt with accordingly. There are plenty of women I've run across that could do some serious damage to you if they had the opportunity. Now our rookie female officers, they usually won't hesitate to fight another female when the opportunity presents its self. They don't carry any of that "don't hit a woman" baggage around with them.

My best advice in this particular case would have been that he should have just avoided the entire situation by not getting on that train. I know that people feel that they should have the right to go where they want to whenever they want to but that's not how things work in certain areas or neighborhoods. The law of the jungle takes over from the law of the land. There are human predators out there that just wait for an opportunity to take advantage of people. And just like one dog might not bother you but put him in a pack of dogs and they turn into hunters - thugs like these girls are the exact same way.

And it's not just NYC that has these issues. There are certain DART trains in the Dallas area that people should avoid for their own safety, especially at night. The West End and Convention Center stations are interesting to watch whenever there's a large convention in town. You've really got to make sure that people don't get on trains heading in the wrong direction from where they need to be going. By the time they realize what they've done they are usually two or three stops into the wrong neighborhood and then the fear sets in. And trust me, criminals like animal predators can smell fear and will react accordingly if given the chance.

Again, try to avoid situations like this if you at all can. In a fair world one should be able to not have to lock their car doors, they should be able to go where ever they want to at anytime, and they should be able to leave all the windows open in their home, but life's not fair. Be careful and remember, you are responsible for your own protection. The police can't be everywhere.

I don't think you would find alot of sympathy in court that a group of high school girls caused a threat to you justifying lethal force. Then again I'm 6'4" and well over 300 pounds I wouldnt have much trouble neutralizing that threat. I think the guy showed great restraint. After they started swinging someone would have been layed out the others would have backed of quickly. Again though I probably wouldnt have found myself in that situation to begin with. I don't get confronted much but the disadvantage being when I do I have to assume they are either crazy or armed ha. Anyhow where it a group of grown men then yes I'd say you run the risk of being beaten to death. But a pack of ignorant hood rat girls well I just don't know unless they had a weapon.

When I was in school (just before students started blowing each other away and carrying pipe bombs in their cars) these little hood rat POS would carry razors tucked away in their sleeves. In a fight they would cut the other person several times before they even realized they were cut.

During my limited years of martial arts classes, my instructor taught us that if someone attempts to put their hands on you, you must assume there is something in their hands that can cause serious injury or death. In this case, these worthless little POS could have very well cut the guy, or hitting on the "What if" event that he knocked one of them on their foot the brothers in the background would have jumped on him in a heartbeat. I would only see the threat of deadly force the only way to escape the situation, hopefully without using it but as the last ditch effort to get out?
