I have said this before to Charles...Given the horrible nature of the events described, I almost hope it is fabricated. It'll shake out eventually folks.

HEMIzygote, you seem to be following this thread and you have clearly got many of us tied up in this story. I can't imagine any reason why you couldn't work with one of the moderators so that they could verify your story and let us all know this is legit. We don't have to know anything about what you tell the moderator. All we (or at least me) need is for a moderator to verify that this is not a hoax. I for one want to believe no one on this forum would make something like this up. With all due respect, you started this and you alone have the ability to provide the needed info to a moderator. There are many of us that really want to give you our support. Please make it easy for us to do this and not feel like we might be getting fooled.

O.K., I'll bite...what in tarnation is going on in this thread? :headscratch

Can anyone elaborate on the cryptic double-talk that's already been presented about "the event"? This entire discussion has the feel of a "viral" marketing campaign for some new Hollywood film... :skep:

HEMIzygote, why don't you step-forward and give us all some facts to work with here?

LOL, dude :rolll I'd hate to see what would happen if your "mild-mannered" pharmacist got his hands on a wheelgun! I'm not too concerned about old Bobcat though, he'll just keep on tweakin' over in a corner somewhere.

Now I'm up to speed. Thanks for the scuttlebutt, Lykoi. ;-)

HEMIzygote's "story" ;-) is like a scene from the film A History of Violence...in the film, the owner of a diner/coffee shop in a small Midwest town, all-around "good guy" Tom Stall, suddenly goes commando one day and single-handedly takes down three armed mafia hitmen with only a half-full coffee pot at his side and a ton o' guts! :fire

BINGO! This dude's a "goldbricker," Dukalmighty.

Anyone ever heard of an aftermarket magazine for a Kimber Pro TLE/RL that will provide for 9+1 capacity? If so, please also inform Kimber of America. ;-)

Ah, come on Frost, I'm just raggin' on him a bit...no harm intended. Any other vets out there should certainly be familiar with this style of banter. If the Moderators are aggrieved by my attempts at humor, mea culpa to all.

Additionally, nothing I've stated is in poor-taste, profane or otherwise indecent.

Well, if someone will send me the gun, I'll be glad to look for the mag.

I've had a few mags for other guns that will allow one more than spec. It all depends on the tolerances; if it's a tight fit on the last round, some manufacturers will advertise it as one less, just to avoid complaints if someone gets one that won't quite take it, or doesn't like having to force it. Some guns also won't take the mag with the extra round loaded. I doubt anyone ever gripes about the mag holding too much.
