Some places aren't wasting any time on the 30.07 signs
I was at Wise Regional Hospital in Decatur this morning and they already have the 30.07 signs up along with the existing 30.06 signs.
Has anyone else seen any 30.07 signs go up yet?

They will have to update their 30.06 on 1/1/2016, even if they have 30.07 posted... Unless I am mistaken, I believe the 30.06 verbiage changed with the passage of HB910. But, ask me if I'm surprised...

I didn't think that they were allowed to post on an admin building which I assume isn't actually a part of the school?oljames3 wrote:Elgin ISD Admin Building.doncb wrote:I was at Wise Regional Hospital in Decatur this morning and they already have the 30.07 signs up along with the existing 30.06 signs.

JSC Federal Credit Union has had the 30.07 signs up since at least early October, maybe even earlier.

Fort Worth Zoo has a combined 30.06/30.07. LOL

It's been awhile since we had to actually go to JSC in person. I'm curious, do they also have 30.06 posted?jrs_diesel wrote:JSC Federal Credit Union has had the 30.07 signs up since at least early October, maybe even earlier.

So if you can't go inside just stand outside.

Per the code, a public school district is a "government entity" by definition. I would challenge the posting.

And wait for the cops... because you know they will be coming. The Wall wrote:So if you can't go inside just stand outside.
If I ever just have one of those days where I feel like sticking it to the man, I might do something like that... Just go stand about a foot in front of some store's 30.07 sign with an OC pistol and just give a blank stare at the sign until the police show up to find out what my problem is.
But that may be misconstrued as "calculating to cause alarm".

If they took down the old signs then you conceal carry there for the time being correct?glockenhand wrote:The Infomart in Dallas has both the new 30.06 & 30.07 signs already posted.

They sure did. Right next to each other near the door. I saw them when I tried to get a money order for my fingerprints. I'm not a member so they wouldn't give me one. I stopped at the branch near Ellington Field on Dixie Farm Road.Mike S wrote:It's been awhile since we had to actually go to JSC in person. From what I understand, they have been 30.06 posted for quite some time. The 30.07 sign took me by surprise, considering that one doesn't apply until January.
