Post by arkansas_matt »

found this forum searching for a way to carry my new insulin pump more comfortably, someone posted about CC and having a pump as well. it just kinda worked out for me that i also just filed for my CHL on monday. playing the waiting game now. im in round rock, im married with a 3 year old daughter. i renovate/flip houses in the austin area, im into classic cars and vintage motorcycles. i have a .38 snub that i plan on using as my EDC and am researching the hell out of holster options. always interested in hanging out, eating, shooting, and riding around austin. looking forward to learning what i can while im here! hope this wasnt too lame of an introduction. glad im married, my match(.)com intro wouldnt get me anywhere.

Welcome. What part of Arkansas, Matt? I'm originally from the Atkins/Russellville area.

Gotcha. Spent Thanksgiving in Fayetteville with family last year. Couldn't believe how much the place had grown.

Matt, I have a good friend who has his CHL who is also on a pump. He has tried a number of carry options and settled on two.
1. Pocket gun (works well for him as he always wears dress pants).
2. Ankle carry (compact Kahr .40).

Don't know if that helps but he seems to be happy with it.
