In my city, camo and kakhi is the norm ... deer hunters, wild boar hunters etc, then there's the Fort Hood guys nearby ... ... but then again we ALL are MWAG up here

Got my CHL in June so I am not that far ahead of you. That Wal-Mart looks familiar. Is that on Nacodoches and 1604?packn1 wrote:Got my plastic in the mail today and made my wally walk. Wasn't nervous one bit it actually felt good to have it on me.
I have to say that on my first day I thought everyone was looking at me but then again they were doing that before I had my CHL.

The more you carry the more comfortable and safer you get with it. Most people are not looking for guns. Don't figit with it and no one notices.

Curious... Have you practiced drawing your weapon out of your holster?
Seems a bit far back to me.
From the pic, looks like you're wearing it in a 6 o'clock position.
I like to keep mine more in the 4 o'clock.
Maybe you're just more flexible than me. Just figured that I would bring it up since you did say that you recently received your CHL.

I'ld rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6

Congrats!
About 20 pounds ago I carried in SOB for awhile, but just don't feel comfortable with it anymore. The other issue I always worried about was getting pinned on my back and/or falling on the gun at some point.
