51% or not?
What is protocol if a restaraunt posts a 51 % sign but is veried not 51% through the TABC? I'm assuming that we cannot carry. Is this correct?
Re: 51% or not?
The license takes precedence over the wrong sign.
Re: 51% or not?
As stated above the license is what deems the location 51% or not and off-limits. A wrong sign 51% sign does not make a location off-limits if it is not actually a 51% location. And in turn an unlicensed possession sign or lack of sign does not make a 51% location OK to carry into; it would just give you a defense to prosecution if you happened to carry there and were arrested.

Its the license that matters; If the license and the sign are different (or there is no sign), the license is always right.
If it looks like a bar, and quacks like a bar you probably can't carry, regardless of whether there is a blue sign or no sign and the license says 51%.

the license should be posted in a visible place right? regardless if a 51% sign is posted or not
