First week carrying
I've carried for a week now. No true "Wally Walk" yet because I haven't gotten my IWB holster yet so have been carrying in my Gun Tote'n' Mama's purse. Anyone have the professional model N82 Tactical?
Have had two dreams, or nightmares, that I've needed it and it wasn't on me. I think that comes from certain family members saying I don't "need" to carry all the time, just when I'm going someplace iffy. If I could predict when I might need it, I'd stay home.
Anyway, I was a little concerned about carrying with "one in the pipe" but that didn't really last too long.
And now I catch myself trying to spot others that are carrying, LOL.

Re: First week carrying
I use the n82 pro for my lc9...I like it a lot but have only been carrying for about two weeks now...draws and reholsters very nicely...glad I went with the professional...fyi- I called to change my order from the regular model to the pro model and she bumped me up to same day shipping instead of the waiting period so I had my holster three days after I ordered it...

Awesome. Thanks! Not a whole lot of reviews out there on the pro model but the ones I've seen have all been positive.

I have done the wally walk many times I also try to spot others who are carrying. Its kinda easy to tell who is, ie.. untucked shirt and older male. I myself fitting that profileRuger3 wrote:I've carried for a week now. No true "Wally Walk" yet because I haven't gotten my IWB holster yet so have been carrying in my Gun Tote'n' Mama's purse. Re: First week carrying
Saw an older gentleman today carrying, he printed big time when he leaned over so there was no doubt. Funny part was that he had his arm in a sling and his gun on same side, he would've had a heck of a time getting to it!

I guess he was not thinking. That would not be a good situation to be in.Ruger3 wrote:Saw an older gentleman today carrying, he printed big time when he leaned over so there was no doubt. Re: First week carrying
I use a Tommy Theis IWB holster for my LC9. It's very much like Crossbreeds and others. I don't have any personal experience with the N82, so can't help you there.

Re: First week carrying
The maxim around here is "carry all the time or guess right..." - since I'm not lucky, I carry all the time . Another reason I always carry during waking hours is to stay used to the holster and weight on my hip.Ruger3 wrote:..Have had two dreams, or nightmares, that I've needed it and it wasn't on me. Re: First week carrying
got my plastic friday, haven't even had a chance to carry yet. i work outdoors, and it's way to hot to wear jeans. My company polo is normal cut, and i would print more than the new york times. Too exhausted to do the wally walk. This Tuesday is looking like a good day to hit wally world, academy, and cabelas ;]

Re: First week carrying
I have been carrying for 2 weeks now. It's getting to be pretty routine. Im slowly getting conceal shirts. in the mean time ,sometimes, I wear my summer safari vest open.
Works really well. I carry OWB. I know the new will wear off some day. But wont affect my commitment to carry because I like carrying.
