As a trucker I always referred to Wal-Mart as WALLY WORLD (I think the company has lost it's soul since old man Sam Walton left us )

I can remember a time that you could ask any employee where something was located and they would take you there. Now you're lucky to even get them to acknowledge you.

I work for a major, and I do mean major, retailer. We have been contacted by different news agencies concerning the term 'Wally Walk' and our condoning this term. We had a meeting very early this morning regarding it and I can say that policies will probably change if this story goes to the national media. And by policies I mean 30.06 signs. If we do that other major retailers will be right behind.
So please stop using this term in general or as a 'right of passage' for getting a CHL.
I can't believe that WALLY WORLD would be such cry babies over a goofy slang term. over the last year I have made maybe about 7 purchases from Wal-Mart. Where in the past i would have been there multiple times a week. I still do Sam's Club about twice a month, but Costco is coming and is closer to me than Wal-Mart or Sam's. grocery wise I prefer Krogers or H.E.B.. There are some items I go to Wally World specifically for like certain canned dog food. If they ever hang a 30.06 sign up. I just start using Target more.

The OP had a grand total of 12 posts before being banned. There's nothing to his claim.

His thread lives on.

I guess I missed it. What else did he do besides make this absurd claim about WalMart to get banned?

It was April Fool's Day when it was first posted.

BTW, I can't even find a WalMart employee anywhere outside of a cash-register lane now. Let alone get one to help me.

I suspect they do all the stocking during the wee-hours...

I thought I had set the standard by starting the photodocumentation of Wally Walks (http://texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=174316#p174316" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), but this raises the bar! Well done.

That's a great video. I chuckled all the way through it. Thanks for making it.

Not nitpicking, but you misspelled application. You might want to correct that since you're on Youtube.

Dang it!!! Now that you pointed it out, I'll have to fix it. Gives me a good reason to slow down the text in the beginning too.

Off topic but since this thread is dead with the OP being banned.... How do I update the video and keep the youtube stats?

You are the one who gave me the idea of turning it in to a video. :tiphat: Now, I need someone else to come along and do it up professionally for me.
