Re: Please don't use the term Wally Walk
I HATE Walmart - especially since Sam Walton died. I am sick of 500 people in the checkout lines and 5 checkouts working and of those, 3 move like they are half asleep. If you need help finding something, good luck finding an employee. I was in a Walmart last year to buy ammunition and had to call the store, ask for a manager, and then ask if there was ANYBODY that worked in sporting goods. In all, it took 15 minutes to buy a box of ammunition (which was the LAST time I bought ammo there). And as far as being a low price leader, shop around - they aren't. I only go into Walmart if I absolutely need something that only Walmart has - and that ain't a very long list.
So go ahead - post a 30.06; it really won't matter that much to me.

One could always do the Home Depot Bunny Hop, but like the Costco Cha Cha mentioned above, when I dance with my OWB gun on, it tends to flap around and leave bruises.

Re: Please don't use the term Wally Walk
The first time I carried I was in Kansas (got my CHL the day before we left for a visit to relatives). I did the Menard's... meander? At any rate, I am sure that EVERYBODY in the store KNEW that I was carrying (probably spent a half hour looking in the mirror before we left to see if I was printing - even though I was wearing a heavy winter coat). Didn't take long to realize that most people are oblivious to what is going on outside of their little sphere of themselves. Now - Spouse: "Are you sure you want to wear that shirt? You're printing". Me: "Nobody will notice. Let's go".

Walmart's preferences dictate what I do about as much as tax evading liberals......

Not to hijack this thread, but MAN I wish we had Menard's down here. I love their stores!!Grillmark55 wrote:The first time I carried I was in Kansas (got my CHL the day before we left for a visit to relatives). I did the Menard's... meander? Re: Please don't use the term Wally Walk
Very possible that the wife and I will be doing the WALLY WALK tonight...can you guys direct me to where I can get the official WALLY WALK T-shirt, WALLY WALK Badge, WALLY WALK Tiara and WALLY WALK Sash?? Please??
Re: Please don't use the term Wally Walk
LOL.
I doubt it. Half the people at Wal Mart are only there to shoplift. They have bigger issues. Not to mention everyone in line in front of me is trying to pass a hot check..
