Newbie ?

Mailed in all my info today. I am looking for small frame, pocket size, .380 or 9mm. I work outdoors & wear jeans in winter & IWB holster just sounds uncomfortabe. I don't want to buy too many before I find one I like. I never tried one on so I don't know what to expect. Any place in Beaumont Or Houston area to try one on before I but many? My other thought was to carry a small compact in my jeans pocket, that may not be too comfortable either. I am sure I have many other questions but just one at a time for now. I have really enjoyed reading this site , Thanks

Just wanting to know about a comfortable IWB Holster or do you just get used to it?

My leather IWB holsters from Sparks and Kramer were comfortable Day One.

I wear a white hat holster IWB for 12 hours a day with a M&P 9c in it and it doesn't bother me one bit. I also wear jeans 75% of the time so I can say it works great with that but I'm indoors most of the time. I'd go with a kahr cm9 or the pm9 for pocket carry.

if you're working outside in jeans, what style of jean are you wearing? you don't want the gun falling out, yes, that can happen. in a snapping cargo pocket maybe that could work. if you're looking for a small gun, look at the small Rugers, Sigs, things many of us gals carry and the guys call BUGs. I carry an LCP, in a Kusiak holster, if I get everything situated right, it will disappear. Now, I do have some jeans that I will slip the LCP into the pocket holster and carry in the pocket, but I'm not moving around and working.
