It's a bill I've written for the 2013 Texas Legislative Session. It's step one of a two step plan to achieve campus-carry, but it has far more impact outside of the campus arena.Reds45ACP wrote:I know it's OT but I hadn't heard this. Link(s) to more info?Charles L. Cotton wrote:

This works like a champ. I completely understand the responses of, "If they are hugging me, they know me well enough to know what's on my belt" but in my case, I carried for a long time with only my wife knowing. That left a lot of family/extended family in the dark about any foreign objects on my hip. Of course, my mother in law eventually found out... and shortly after that, it became part of the family folklore and tribal knowledgeJumping Frog wrote:I am careful with how I hug. Since it is on my right hip, I will hug with my left arm going high at the shoulder level and my right arm going low at the waist level. That always ends up with their arm above my right arm, and well away from my firearm. So I've never had anyone feel it and start asking questions.
