A shoulder carry rig is not that much different than a cross draw from the hip. Strong side IWB or OWB is safest manner to CCW. IMHO.stompme wrote:Dont cross-draw....that is not a good way to draw in a real-world situation unless you have a shoulder carry method. If I'm getting out of my car, and there is a situation where I must draw...I think side holstering is the best at about 3-4:00; will be best to take care of my life. Whatever, if you wish to carry at at cross-draw, you better darn well be practicing daily & FAST at that...

slightly infront of the seam down the side of the pants.
but with a slight forward cant to raise the rear of the grip IWB is what I do, roughly 3:00

Cannon didn't need a gun. He'd just hit 'em with his belly.speedsix wrote:stompme wrote:Dont cross-draw....that is not a good way to draw in a real-world situation unless you have a shoulder carry method. Re: IWB Carry Position
Just as another option, if your looking for a hybrid holster, with a 2 day turnaround and <70 dollar price tag, check out Theiss Holsters. He made me a hybrid horsehide for 45 bucks, and a week turnaround time. Granted, I asked him to make it with some of his blemished horsehide, and there is one tiny dime sized discoloration. It goes IWB, so I could care less. I pack with a smile everyday.
