Just got home...

Post by dfws4 »

Took my initial registration class today and it was great! Class was very informative and I feel as if I took away great knowledge that I will be able to reference for years to come. And, to top it off, I was the only one of 15 in my class that scored a 100% on both written and shooting proficiency exams (patting self on back).

Can't wait for Monday when I can get my packet in the mail - now the wait starts. They told me to expect 90 days until the plastic arrives. Guess that will give me plenty of time to decide which carry pistol to purchase.

Congrats on the perfect score. I hate to brag and rub it into peoples faces but i don't understand what takes people so long to get the plastic. It took me 2 weeks. My frien with the same class it took 10 days. Maybe we are special?

all though...... it did take me about 9 years to take the course and decide to get my CHL. It also took me about a year do pick the right pistol. I am proud to say the Ruger SR9C is the best firearm i have ever had the pleasure to shoot. I love it. never looked back.

Look at the date of the original post. Almost 3 years ago! Thinks took longer then. Thanks to the efforts of many, it's a lot quicker now.
