Lookin' good. Stage to stage is a bumpy ride. May I suggest you close the front of the butt rest, and pad the bottom,
and use some leather where the barrel comes in contact with the cart.

Looks very nice! Excellent craftsmanship. Maybe a leather strap or bungee cord the hold the barrel to the cart?

Thought about the butt-rests long and hard. I will be padding that and where the barrel sits. The butt-rests are formed to the butts and actually ride quite well
