Prayers For My Wife

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

I am very saddened to hear of these troubles. I know you to be a man of great compassion for others. My heartfelt sympathy and hope is with you both. Please God, strengthen these two. They are your faithful servants and we know they look to you in their time of need. We join together in lifting our prayers up with earnest hearts.

Carl, I just now saw this. Richbirdhunter brought it to my attention via text. Robin and I are praying for you and Mary. I left you a voicemail just now.

May the One who blessed our ancestors bless and heal your dear wife.
May the Holy Blessed One overflow with compassion upon her, to restore her, to heal her, to strengthen her, to enliven her.
May the Holy One send her, speedily, a complete healing — a healing of the soul and a healing of the body — along with all the ill,
among all people of Israel and all humankind, soon, speedily, and without delay. Amen.

My wife had a good night last night and they released her this afternoon. I just got her home and she is back to normal! She is telling me how many dirty dishes I had left in the sink. :rules:

Her speech is good. She is a little slow to tell me what she needs or remembering what she was doing Sunday evening before going to the hospital. The doctors at Baylor said all of that should come back slowly and that there shouldn't be any significant damage. In May 2009 she suffered a stroke and I was in Baylor with heart issues. They carried her straight down to the ER where she suffered another stroke. She has lasting damage from those strokes. We are praying and thanking God that this was not worse than it was.

She has been given a blood thinner and we have an appointment with our doctor in Tyler on Thursday. She will be referred to a neurologist. I guess we will know more from there. Baylor mentioned she will need occupational therapy and we would be able to come there for that treatment. That will make it much easier.

Thank you for all of the prayers. TAM I will give you a call in a little while. :thumbs2:

Great news thanks, for the update, continued prayers for full recovery, and God's hand in the doctor's treatments.
