Prayers For Church Member

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Prayers For Church Member

#1

Post by carlson1 »

My wife led a lady to Christ about 4 years ago and her name is Mrs. Elsa. She had a knee replacement on Monday. She was to be released today from Baylor. They have her some opioids for pain and it overdosed her. They had to give her narcan and CPR for 8 minutes to bring her back. She is scared out of her wits. Please pray for Mrs. Elsa’s peace of mind and recovery.

Update on Mrs. Elsa. She went home and they gave her
hydrocodone for pain. She is back in ICU with a Norcan (so) drip. It is obvious she cannot take opioids, but they continue to prescribe them to her. She is an elderly lady and now she has extra health issues after her knee surgery. Prayers are appreciated.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering how Mrs. Elsa has been doing. More prayers on the way.

Mrs. Elsa was released yesterday. She followed up with the surgeon today and the knee replacement did not take. She is scheduled for surgery this coming Monday. Prayers are appreciated.

I also cannot take opiates. I have been given this in place of it and had good results.
