Here's a breakdown of my timing:

1/3 - Fingerprints
1/6 - Class Completed (and upload all docs to website)
1/10 - Online Status Available - Pending B/G check
1/18 - Pending Print
1/22 - Mailed
1/xx - Card In Hand (patiently waiting...)

I assume I'll get the card later this week - which will put me right at (or just over) three weeks total time from start to finish...

01/27 - Took LTC Class
01/28 - Submitted Application
01/29 - Submitted Fingerprints
02/09 - All Green Checks / Mailed Status
02/12 - Plastic in Hand

Hi! Here’s been my experience so far.

Applied on DPS website - 2/23/18
Took course - 2/24/18
Submitted documents - 2/24/18
Prints taken - 2/26/18
Confirmation of documents received - 2/26/18
All checks green except for background - 3/1/18
Background check green, print pending - 3/2/18
Mailed - 3/7/18

I’m also in my very early 20s, only lived in Texas, and have never even received as much as a speeding ticket.

Only 4 days after everything was submitted, and it’s print pending

02/09 - All Green Checks / Mailed Status - What does this mean? Where would I see this?

Also, for the person who posted "confirmation received"....how were you notified?

What is strange, is that when I go there....it previously said "Application Status: Submitted". Now it doesn't say that, and there is no additional information added. FWIW, I called this morning and they told me they had received all of the necessary information......strange.

It takes couple days(2-5 days) for it to update, once it does it will have all checks of stuff received. Just keep checking everyday!

Thanks....I will be one less caller tomorrow. I am sure they get tired of people bothering them for a status check!

i dont have any priors or jail time or medical issues that would delay my BG check. it looks like things have slowed down since January.

man... my BG check has been under review since 2/28.... =\ i wonder whats causing mine to be delayed... maybe since im in my 30s and not my early 20s... more stuff to sift thru maybe...

From what I have read here it can seem almost random sometimes :/

Have you ever lived out of state? That is a factor.

Have you ever lived out of state? That is a factor.

Lived in Texas my whole life.

Still nothing on their website......no status update. Anyone else have to wait this long, just to see status on their website? I called again and the lady told me that she saw my TLC-100 in the file but not part of the application??? She was sending something to the processing team. No clue what that means.
