Called DPS Monday told me I'd been approved and sent to manufacturing.but no status change yet anyone had similar issue?.

You may have plastic in hand before the status changes on their website

Some people actually receive their license and the site never changes. It's possible that this is your case. It could also be that the license has yet to be printed so it's not ready to be mailed out. It seems that the change, if it takes place, happens once your license is in the mail. While I don't believe there's a set schedule, it appears that once the license is approved it takes a week at the most to print.

Keep checking the website. If it does change you should have your plastic as soon as the mail can get it to you.

I was told the same thing on Tuesday the 16th. Website changed on the 21st, still no plastic (but I haven't gotten mail today).

I was told on feb 19th I was approved and sent to print. No website change and no plastic in hand. one waiting game is replaced with another!!

Congrats! Great day coming when the plastic arrives.

It took 8 days from when they said I was approved to when I received the plastic in the mail. The web site changed the day before I received the license in the mail.

Was told by a representative that the status update online hasn't work for at least a year now

Apparently they used to provide tracking of the status of your application. I guess that is what no longer works. But you can tell when you are approved by the fact that the website changes to allow things like changing address, report lost or stolen card, etc, etc.

I'm not sure anything in this process works like it's supposed to. I'm almost at 70 days with no news, and I'm getting pretty frustrated by it. The people on the phone are no help and neither is the website.

Hang in there gun friend, you know it will be soon. Im sure mine will be the latter of the 1-2 weeks.

Checked today and status changed a tear dripped from my eye. Been approved sense monady.
