Seriously, I feel like I have to be Goose Stepping in order to get my CHL. My right to defend myself and my family is a decision that gets to be made by some people far away. OK?

Texas is a shall issue state. No decision to be made. You either qualify or you don't.

Don't forget the hat. Until you qualify for the tiara, you need to wear the hat.

It's kinda funny when you think about it. The constitution guarantees you a right to do just that. Funny how we implement it, huh?

I found it a minor annoyance and a bit waste of time... In terms of bureaucracy that rises to the level of annoyance, it rates 2 or 3 on a 10 scale.

No decision to rights. You have the right to own firearms in your home an even carry them in your vehicle without a license. What you are getting with a CHL is a privilege to carry concealed on your body.

Infringement on keeping and bearing, yes, but the method of bearing is not defined, so I believe that concealed carry is a priveledge on top of just bearing them openly.

Having to find records that might not even exist, because I was a Private in training and because I was assaulted when I was Staff Sargent makes me 'GOOSE STEP'. I hate this process with my whole heart. Cheerios can't save me now.
