Just wanted to say thank you for all of the great advice and encouragement I have found on this forum, it really made a difference in my decision regarding a CHL.
I am new to the forum and have been in TX close to 2 years now.

Filled out the application online week before last, finger prints and photos 2 days later.
Class last Saturday, mailed Monday received yesterday.

So here I am waiting, patiently...lol

June & July seemed fast. Mine took 29 days mailbox to mail box. It seems like forever but this forum will keep you sane while waiting!!!

It just depands on the bg check. mine took 5 days to complete some others i've seen have taken weeks, months for bg to come back. hang in there and good luck. Mine total time was 62 days from mail box to mail box. Pecos has learned to be calm, seek his advice, his process was much faster than mine. Also post your time line its helps those who mailed around the same time you did.
this is my fist post of a time line
3-7-13-Application completed online
3-8-13 -Fingerprints
3-9-13- Class completed
3-11-13 -Mailed all paperwork to DPS
3-15-13 dps recieves paperwork

Here are the dates so far:

Forms Completed Online: 7/09/13
Prints: 7/11/13
Class: 7/13/13
Mailed: 7/15/13
Received: 7/17/13
Status Update: 7/25/13

A year ago this month, I spent 1 month in BCR. 6 to 8 weeks was about "normal" for mailbox to mailbox time.

ETA, from looking at this year's stats in the July Apps thread, it appears to be going a lot faster right now. Good luck

You'll either monday or tuesday the change to manufacturedd then mailed you should have it by the end of the week, hopefully.. Congrats it wont be long now.
Remember to carry safe and proud. Also post the day you get it with the dancing bannana
