new here from Brownsville TX i sent out all my paper work on 1/28/13 by mail and i did Prints that same day.

3/7/13 still under Background Review 13 days so far.

EDIT: 03/08/13 just went into manufacturing pending.

I'm from the RGV also. Mine has been under review since 2-16...no updates yet.

And I was hoping to see a change tomorrow lol let me know as soon as you get a update since you might get one before I do.

im from the valley too..mailed my application with everything but fingerprints(was told id be given an appt for that by dps) on jan16..my money order was cashed jan 28 but i still dont pop up on the dps system

My wife's Prints were done on 09 Feb and packet mailed on 11th and signed for by DPS on the 15th. She is still not showing anything on the site. For both of us we made our appt for prints online during reg process. I did mine in McAllen and hers in Brownsville.

Mine arrived DPS on 03 Feb and showed on DPS on the 16th....still in BG since then.

i tried making my appt online with morphotrust and they said they had no record of me on file from dps

Sounds like you might wanta call DPS tomorrow.

i called two weeks ago and spoke to a guy who told me id just have to wait for my name to come up. they are backed up he said. then i called this past friday and someone else told me i should have been in system a long time ago if my money order has been cashed for two months. told me to fax them a copy of the m.o. so they can look it up that way. still waitin for the m.o. in the mail

Wife says that my permit is sitting at home waiting for me to get out of work. Big thanks for everyone who answered my questions. 55 days mailbox to mailbox.
